GREETING PEOPLE WITH A SMILING FACE IS A SUNNAH: 30

 DIFFERENCE BETWEEN US AND THE SAHABAH

That is the primary difference between us and the Sahabah (Companions of the Holy Prophetﷺ). They listened to the Ahadith of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. We also listen to the Ahadith of the Holy Prophet ﷺ. However, when they listened to the sayings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, they surrendered all their plans, submitted all their intentions, to his commandments. 

 

On the other hand, we keep reading and listening to the sayings of the Holy Prophet ﷺ whole day, but we do not get motivated to act on them. That is why our lives do not change as a result of reading and listening to the Ahadith of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, while Allah Ta’ala had granted great respect to the Sahabah in this world, and they will also receive an exalted status in the Aakhirah (Hereafter) Insha’Allah (God willing).
